Hi! I'm Maria, the founder of Mionas Bakery. A computer engineer by profession and a pastry chef (and business owner) by vocation.
In love with my career, with my studies, what had once been my passion slowly became a weight on my shoulders. And what had once been a silly idea of "hey, we should open a bakery here in Sitges" suddenly (well, nothing is that sudden: it took 5 years to make it happen) became reality. And we went for it, and let ourselves go with it.
On 31 May 2025, we opened a bakery dedicated to American cookies on a little street in the heart of Sitges. Every day, our display is full of cookies. From time to time, you can also find some of our other specialties: our house brookie, cinnamon rolls or cheesecakes. We also make mini cookies, megacookies and cakes (layer cakes) to order.
The leap into the unknown
