🎃 Our first kids' workshop at Mionas Bakery Sitges

On Saturday we held our first workshop for children at Mionas Bakery, and we're still smiling about it.
The excitement they walked into our kitchen with was something else 😍

We had several activities lined up, because we didn't want them standing around with nothing to do at any point.

The main activity was making a megacookie: each child prepared their own dough from scratch, mixing the ingredients and pressing it into their tin.

We also used part of the dough to make mini cookies, in case there was time to decorate them (though in the end they took them home to enjoy!).

While the megacookies baked, they got stuck into the fondant decorations that would go on top.

Before starting, we asked them to draw how they wanted their megacookie to look, so we could shape the fondant figures to match their design.

It was wonderful to watch their creativity in action — the way they sparked ideas off each other and brought some really original ones to life.

Once the megacookies were baked and cooled, the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived: decorating them. They used piping bags of buttercream and the fondant figures they'd made.

We also made a flat ghost-shaped cookie, which they decorated and placed on top of their megacookies as a finishing touch 👻🍪

It was a brilliant experience.

We think everyone enjoyed it enormously — them, leaving happy and proud of their work, and us, seeing it all come together perfectly 🥰
