Nuestras Cookies de Navidad: sabores que saben a tradición, recuerdos y magia

Our Christmas Cookies: flavours that taste of tradition, memory and magic

Christmas always smells of something special: family gatherings, desserts that appear only once a year, and those flavours that quietly become rituals without you noticing. This year I wanted to capture all of that in a very special collection of Christmas Cookies, each one inspired by a moment, a flavour or a memory of my own.
They're big, gooey cookies, full of surprises inside and packed with nods to the festive classics we all love.

Here's each one: how it's made, and the real story behind it.

🍫 Suchard Cookie

Dough: milk chocolate chips, pieces of Suchard turrón
Filling: Nutella + a piece of Suchard
Inspiration: The turrón that announces Christmas is on its way — the one where "just one more piece" means it's suddenly gone. With a nod to the Tió de Nadal.

This cookie is pure nostalgia. Suchard is Christmas's starting pistol: it shows up weeks early and lasts us about two days, because we never know when to stop. I decorated it with a nod to the Tió de Nadal, that very Catalan tradition of ours. A crunchy, sweet bite with that unmistakable Suchard texture.

🍫✨ Ferrero Rocher Cookie

Dough: cocoa, dark chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips and hazelnuts
Filling: Nutella + a whole Ferrero Rocher
Inspiration: The iconic gold box of Ferrero Rocher that appears at every Christmas and Sant Esteve table.

This one is festive indulgence at its purest. I wanted to recreate the feeling of opening the Ferrero Rocher box and seeing the gold wrappers glinting. When you bite into it you should get that crunch, that deep chocolate, that unmistakable hazelnut aroma. Which is why there's a whole Ferrero hidden inside — because Christmas is excess, and so is this cookie.

🍽️ Jijona Turrón Cookie

Dough: white chocolate chips, pieces of Jijona turrón
Filling: Jijona cream
Inspiration: My favourite turrón to round off the big Christmas meal.

I wanted this one soft and mellow, just like the turrón itself. It leans into that comforting almond flavour I always look forward to when the big lunch on the 25th comes around. Of all of them, this is perhaps the most emotional for me: it tastes of pure tradition.

👑 Roscón de Reyes Cookie

Dough: white chocolate chips, candied fruit, lemon zest, orange zest, orange blossom water
Filling: homemade marzipan
Inspiration: My favourite roscón: the marzipan one. There was no way I wasn't turning it into a cookie.

This is where I let my inner fan out. I'm obsessed with roscón de reyes, especially the marzipan version, so making this cookie was practically compulsory. With candied fruit in the dough (but not too much) and a heart of homemade marzipan, it's like eating a mini roscón — only gooier and thoroughly indulgent.

🍫🥖 Churros and Hot Chocolate Cookie

Dough: milk chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips and pieces of churro
Filling: thick drinking chocolate
Inspiration: Breakfast on Three Kings' Day: churros with hot chocolate.

Nothing says "the morning of 6 January" quite like churros dipped in thick chocolate. I wanted to capture that moment as a cookie: a dough loaded with chocolate, real pieces of churro, and a molten chocolate centre that spills out when you break it open. It's breakfast, memory and celebration all at once.

🍪✨ Ginger Cookie

Dough: white chocolate chips, spices (cinnamon, ginger, clove, nutmeg), salted caramel crispearls
Filling: none
Inspiration: My nod to the gingerbread man, in gooey, spiced cookie form.

The most aromatic of the lot. It perfumes the kitchen from minute one and has that warm note so typical of Christmas biscuits. It doesn't need a filling, because the star here is the balance between spice and sweetness. Christmas in cookie form.

A collection made with love, memories and the flavours that define December

Each of these cookies has its own small story. They're not just flavours: they're family moments, Catalan traditions, long lunches, laughter and rituals.
My goal was simple: to make cookies you don't just eat, but feel.

And I think I've managed it.

If you'd like to try the Christmas collection or reserve your cookies, I'd be delighted to bake a little bit of Christmas for you.
